I saw this rendition of a Myers Briggs personality sorter at st-crispins's. It's a pretty good version, afaict; but I'm finding the questions on these sorts of tests harder and harder to answer the older I get.

I've seen it written that Mary Sues, choose your precise definition, are a developmental step we all go through. I don't think this is always true; or maybe I'm just getting there.

I just opened my Sherlock Holmes story - the one I was feeling kind of unenthusiastic about - and fixed ONE LITTLE SENTENCE. And now I feel much happier.

(Why does LJ tell me Sherlock is spelled correctly but not Holmes???)

(1) So I'm watching Smallville with husband and daughters; I've never seen it before. I'm confused; not sure I'd like it if I understood it. It's snowing, and though the stretch of street we live on is level there's very short, very steep bits going either up or down to get out of our immediate neighborhood. I've been knocked out of sga_lfws after the first round. I'm bummed; I'd thought my story ( here, if you're feeling brave; and I'll do a formal fic announcement later) was pretty good*.
